THIS SEMINAR IS FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE THAT WANTS TO TAKE TRAINING THEIR DOG SERIOUSLY.
Day 1 will be all theory. I have a new format and a heap of new info to pass on.
Beginning
We start with how to maximise your dogs motivation to learn. How to engage with your dog on a level that creates an active dog and a reactive handler. Then using that motivation we develop a communication system to make things crystal clear for the dog.
Middle
We then discuss how steer that motivation into actual behaviours you want to see from your dog. The process by which dogs learn and how to communicate your intent to the dog you are training. We turn the motivation we have built for some kind of reward into motivation to do the work that leads to that reward! You will understand what deep practice is and how to avoid the pitfalls of over and under training.
End
Lastly we discuss how to become our dogs master coach. Having a plan for every session and the decision tree on the feedback we will give our dog. Creating consequences both positive and negative for action and inaction.
Day 2 and subsequent days will be roughly 10 working spots. The dogs that are chosen will all be based on providing the best learning opportunities to EVERYONE present. There is no extra charge for those who are asked to bring their dog.
This event is suitable for ANYONE looking to make progress with their dog and or people looking to have a good time discussing relatively advanced concepts in dog training!
